About
Design Systems: Component Libraries, Tokens, Documentation, Governance.
User Experience: Information Architecture, User Flow Mapping, Interaction Design.
Technical: Figma, CSS/HTML, Retail Systems, Operational Workflows.
I didn’t start out thinking about systems.
My background is in visual design and animation, and early on I cared a lot about how things looked. That shifted pretty quickly once I started seeing how often a clean interface would still fail in practice. If the logic underneath it breaks, the design doesn’t really matter.
Over time, I found myself pulled toward the parts of design that are less visible but more important. Things like structure, flow, and how a product actually holds up when people are using it under pressure.
How I Work
Most of my experience involves a blend of digital tools and real-world environments.
At Wayfair, I worked on mapping systems for a large retail store, which meant designing for people who were moving, distracted, and trying to get their job done quickly. At Constant Contact, I focused on internal tools that helped sales teams navigate complex information during onboarding and day-to-day work.
I tend to enjoy projects where things are a bit messy. Tight constraints, imperfect systems, and real usage conditions usually lead to better decisions than working in ideal scenarios.
Working With Me
I usually sit somewhere between design and engineering.
I care about making sure what gets designed can actually be built and maintained without friction. That means being clear, practical, and willing to adjust when something does not hold up in implementation.
I value direct communication and straightforward collaboration. The goal is not just to hand something off, but to make sure it works for the people building it and the people using it.
Tools & Focus
I spend most of my time in Figma, working on flows, prototypes, and systems that can scale.
My work often involves:
Structuring complex information into usable flows
Designing interfaces for data-heavy or operational tools
Building patterns and systems that teams can reuse over time
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time training and tracking progress in the gym. I like the process of improving small things consistently over time, which probably carries over into how I approach design.
